How to send documents in iPhone WhatsApp:

Step 1: Open an individual or group chat.

Step 2: Tap Attach. 

Step 3: Then, tap: Document to select a document from your phone. Step 4: Camera to take a picture with your camera.

Step 5:Gallery to select an existing photo or video from your phone. You can also add captions to photos and videos. Swipe between photos to add captions to each one.

Step 6: Tap Send.
